At Black and White Psychology, we provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents navigating a range of life’s challenges. Stephanie is an experienced and dedicated psychologist who is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Forensic Science) and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).

Therapeutic Modalities

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Focuses on the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is highly effective for identifying and shifting unhelpful patterns in a relatively short timeframe.

Schema Therapy

This modality goes deeper to explore long-standing patterns (or "schemas") that often originate in childhood. It is particularly helpful for chronic emotional struggles and complex relational issues.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills

We incorporate DBT-informed skills to help you develop mindfulness, improve emotional regulation, and increase your tolerance for distress.

Initial Consultation & Planning

Once we’ve connected, we will schedule your first 50-minute individual session. In this meeting, we’ll explore your concerns such as anxiety, trauma, or relationship patterns and determine which evidence-based modality, like CBT or Schema Therapy, aligns best with your goals for healing and growth.
